We had a great 4th this year, lots of food, family and fireworks! When we were little the Chinese house was our favorite firework, not because it did anything fancy, it was just do darn cool how at the end it would spin around and then pop up, we loved it. A few years ago we were looking for some and a friend of ours who's aunt sells fireworks in Wyoming said they didn't make them anymore, but when Tysen and Chris were in Vegas a while ago they hit a firework store and guess what they found!

I had forgotten about those chinese house fireworks- we used to save them all for the end and make a little city. I think we even saved them in the garage for weeks after. It looks like you are all settled into your new place. We miss seeing you around.
I totally remember those chinese houses & loved them, too. What fun memories. My daughter, Melissa, has been reading this along with me & bummed that you got to go to the Stadium of Fire. We were in Utah, but up camping in the mountains. Sorry the sound system was so bad. We enjoyed the fireworks from the mouth of the canyon. =)
